Has you brain ever felt tired? or have you ever made the comment, “I’m just too tired to think!”

I call this a mushy brain. I posted the other day about the importance of rest and this goes right along with how imperative rest is.

In my line of work, it is crucial. Lives, literally depend on it. I am working on finding a balance in life.

I love the people I work with. Seriously! I work with the best team on the planet! They are my work family. Keyword being – FAMILY!

That being said, my friend and I were talking about things in our personal lives and conversing about how we must remember that we do not live to work, but that we work to live.

The Bible says – a man (or person) that doesn’t work, shouldn’t be allowed to eat. I may get flack for this, but there is nothing wrong with work. But the elaboration of that comment is for another post.

At the end of the day, we need to build the relationships around us and that starts in at home. If we spend too much time outside of our own 4 walls, they just might crumble around us AND we also can grow a mushy brain.

Let’s be determined to build better relationships inside our domains AND take time to rest so we avoid the mushy brain.
