To begin a quest, you must start somewhere. But often times a task is filled with millions of questions. Where? What? How? When? Why? And the list goes on.
For anything (which yes is an extremely broad subject), you simply have to start. Over the years, I have asked many times over the years – how do you eat an elephant?
DO PEOPLE REALLY EAT ELEPHANTS?
Excuse me?! Do people actually eat elephants? I watched a documentary once on the National Geographic channel depicting such behavior, but I am not talking literal here.
The “elephant” is the task at hand. Maybe it is something you dread, however it must be done. Maybe it is something in your dream world, yet again, it must begin somewhere.
If you need or want to lose weight, it begins with a choice and decision to cut back calories or to begin an exercise program. To write a paper for college? It begins with putting pen to paper (or in today’s world, typing on a computer). What about nurturing a relationship? A phone call or text message.
Every project with a goal, requires a solution for completion. What are the dreams or goals you want to accomplish? What are the toxic things you need to let go of?
START HERE, GO ANYWHERE
The question remains…… how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
