What does the power of the seed mean? Have you ever heard of the power of a seed? Have you ever even pondered such thoughts?
The law of reaping and sowing says, that whatever we plant, we will reap. If we sow cotton, it will produce cotton. If we plant corn, out of the ground will sprout corn. The Bible even tells us that whatever a man sows, that will he also reap (Galatians 6:7). It is a law from the beginning of time, to the end of time.
Think about this…. you can count the apples on a tree. Take one of those apples, cut it open and count the seeds. You can count the seeds in an apple, or the seeds in an orange – and so on. But take one of those apple seeds and plant it. From deep inside the little seed, will come an entire tree. How many apples are on that tree? And consider this….. how many seeds are in those apples, on the tree, that grew from that one little seed?
In this scenario, one seed has the potential to create an entire orchard.
What if your one good deed, your one act of kindness, or even your smile had the possibility to change a life? The truth is, it does! It may not be important to many people, but to one person, it could mean the world!
I don’t really know who originally came up with this quote, because the internet is full of more information than one is able to absorb. But regardless, it stands true…..
